NEMSM at Racearama
On March 2 and 3, Board members of the Racing History Preservation Group including (left to right) Mark Hann, Al Novotnik, Ray Boissoneau and Pete vonSneidern shared the story of the proposed North East Motor Sports Museum with the big crowds that attended the Frank Marrata owned Racearama show at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds. Also on hand were Board member Skip Matczak and Member Denny Zimmerman. The Group’s display was highlighted by one of Bossoneau’s fantastic vintage midgets. While the show was going on, Dick Berggren headed a panel discussion on the history of supermodified racing at the International Motorsports Research Center in Watkins Glen, NY. The Center is a growing resource of books, photographs and artifacts covering the entire history of auto racing and grew a large crowd for the panel. Back |
