RHPG TO EXHIBIT AT OWL’S HEAD
Racing History Preservation Group members are proud to have been asked to display a cross section of cars at the Owl’s Head Transportation Museum in Maine. The exhibit will run from April 30 through sometime in the fall. Included will be Skip Matczak’s fabulous Hilegass hemi powered sprint car (pictured), a fabulous early dragster owned by Paul Aldrich, an early flathead-powered coupe owned by Lloyd Hutchins and Dick Berggren’s 60’s Edmunds sprint car. With over 125,000 square feet of exhibit, maintenance facility, workshops and a fabulous library, Owl’s Head nears its 40th year of operation, Visitors to the Transportation Museum see fabulous vintage cars, airplanes, motorcycles, bicycles, and engines. Open year-round, the Owl’s Head Museum is in the heart of Maine’s vacation land, near Camden, Rockland and other scenic areas. Back |
