The Racing History Preservation Group At NHMS!
Board Members of the Racing History Preservation Group exhibited at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the duration of the big mid-July NASCAR weekend. Bob Coy provided a 1930s European motorcycle, Ken Smith brought his photo and newspaper clipping scrapbooks and Ray Boissoneau loaned his magnificent Drew Fornoro-driven NEMA midget for fans to enjoy. The weekend was an opportunity to share the story of the North East Motor Sports Museum with the fans who came to NHMS to see K&N Pro, NASCAR Whelen Modified, Nationwide and Sprint Cup cars and drivers compete. More people signed on to become members this weekend than at any other event the Group has exhibited at. Momentum is on the side of the new museum. Right to left are Ric Mariscal, Pete vonSneidern, Roland Slabon, Ken Smith, Bob Coy, Mark Hann and Dick Berggren, all of whom were there to tell race fans about the museum. Back |
