History Made at Groundbreaking This Friday!
History will be made at Groundbreaking for the North East Motor Sports Museum. For the first time ever, all four New England drivers who have won at NASCAR’s top level will be together at the same time, same place. Pete Hamilton, winner of the 1970 Daytona 500, and Joey Logano, winner of the 2015 Daytona 500 (45-years after Hamilton’s win) will join Ron Bouchard and Ricky Craven as the only four drivers to win in NASCAR’s top level. Also in attendance will be Bob Whitcomb who won the 1990 Daytona 500 as Derrike Cope’s car owner. Groundbreaking is free and open to the public. It will be held at 2pm on the site where the museum will be constructed on Rt 106 in Loudon, NH just north of the Shell station. A large crowd is expected so plan to come early. There’s acres of free parking. Back |
