Finishing The Floor
In mid-November, ICS Coatings completed a four-day project of preparing, then epoxy-coating the floor at the North East Motor Sports Museum. Dillon Coburn, the project's on-site foreman, is shown applying coating to a section of the museum that will become a drag racing diorama. ICS send a crew of five men who cleaned the grooves in the concrete, then filled then with a special compound. They used a huge diamond-cutter grinder to rough up the concrete's surface, cleaned everything and then applied the epoxy with large rollers. Labor and materials worth north of an estimated $50,000, was donated. Back |
