 BUSY DAY AT THE MUSEUM

            Despite snow on the ground, the museum was hot on Saturday, November 17.  Slot car drag racing drew those who wanted to try their hand at scale model drag racing. The slot car drags have proven to be a popular attraction at the museum.

            A big group from the Orientals hot rod club arrived by bus and spent most of the day testing their skills on the iRacing.com simulator and looking over the cars and motorcycles at the museum. Many surprised themselves with their ability to handle a sim car on an oval track. They brought in a truckload of pizza at mid-day and everyone had a great time.
