SIMPLY MAGNIFICENT

Florida resident JoAnn Burns has contributed the oldest trophies in our collection going back to 1906. They were won by her grandfather (H.J. Murch) for races he ran at the Readville (Boston) Speedway, Newton (MA) track and on the Boston Common. The trophies are made of silver, nothing like today’s trophies which are often made of plastic. We are grateful to Ms. Burns who also supplied background information on each trophy including that the car that won them all was a Cadillac.
