PAUL MORONEY NAMED 2023 VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
Paul Moroney was recently named 2023 volunteer of the year at the New England Racing Museum’s annual volunteer appreciation luncheon on April 21st. A plaque has been installed in the museum representing his likeness alongside the previous volunteer of the year recipients. Over the years of his dedicated volunteerism at the museum Paul has demonstrated dedication and commitment to fulfilling the New England Racing Museums mission of preserving and education the public on the history of motor racing in New England. He has and continues to exemplify an ethic of leadership and selflessness to help better our cause. Paul started volunteering at the museum in 2019 and has been a consistent team player willing to help with any task. Whether it’s helping to setup or break down an event, complete a museum installation on our walls, work the front desk, work a car show entry gate, he does it all and does it well. He is a volunteer with a diverse set of skills who is always dependable, upbeat and friendly to our visitors. He always makes a point to arrive early and leaves late to make sure the job is finished properly. Each year the museum is a high priority amongst his other volunteerism activities. He can be found in the museum volunteering multiple times each month throughout the year. Please join us in extending a congratulations to 2023 volunteer of the year Paul Moroney!
