On Tuesday, March 23, the last of the concrete was poured into forms and the foundation for the North East Motor Sports Museum was finished. Considerable progress has been made toward the museum's opening.

On Friday, March 11, the Michie Corporation brought enough donated cement to the North East Motor Sports Museum site to pour 320-feet of footings. Bentley Warren donated the equipment and paid its operator, Andy Kaski, to dig the trench into which the footings were laid

On Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the well at the site of the North East Motor Sports Museum was drilled. On the same day, representatives from Morton Buildings, Total Climate Control (providing plumbing services), Doherty Electric (providing electrical installation), Kendall Construction and New England Forms (foundation work) met with Dave Patten, Mark Hann, Andy Kaski and me to plan for the foundation...

On Wednesday, February 17, 2016, Bentley Warren was honored by the Living Legends of Auto Racing at their annual dinner in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was introduced by auto racing book publisher and former race car driver Lew Boyd who shared with the sold-out crowd stories from the life and times of one of the museum's strongest supporters.

The site of the North East Motor Sports Museum at New Hampshire Motor Speedway froze over in the early winter. Before the frost set in, Andy Kaski, using equipment on loan from Bentley Warren Inc, installed an underground storm water system on the site. Construction Updates



Work continued on the site of the North East Motor Sports Museum deep into December. The final project to be accomplished before the harsh winter set in was to install an underground storm water drain system.

On an especially dark December night, several hundred people stood in the rain outside a funeral home in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, waiting their turn to say a final 'good-by' to Ron Bouchard and to extend their sympathy to his family. Few knew that Bouchard had suffered from cancer for five years. He looked healthy so it was a surprise to most when at age 67 he died.

Site work continues on the land that will be home to the North East Motor Sports Museum. Andy Kaski has finished leveling the ground where the museum will be erected and is now working a huge sifter that is generating sand needed for back-filling the foundation, the septic system and under-floor base. Pushing Dirt!



Andy Kaski has been pushing dirt to prepare the site of the North East Motor Sports Museum since November 11. The plot had to be leveled to accommodate the building, its parking lots and grounds. Bentley Warren loaned his D-8 Cat bulldozer at no cost to the museum for the job. Next task will be to put the forms down and fill them with concrete to create the building’s foundation. History Made at Groundbreaking This Friday!

History will be made at Groundbreaking for the North East Motor Sports Museum this Friday at 2PM. For the first time ever, all four New England drivers who have won at NASCAR’s top level will be together at the same time, same place. Pete Hamilton, winner of the 1970 Daytona 500, and Joey Logano, winner of the 2015 Daytona 500 (45-years after Hamilton’s win) will join Ron Bouchard and Ricky Craven as the only four drivers to win in NASCAR’s top level.
