Come see the building that will house the North East Motor Sports Museum at a free Open House on Saturday, September 24 from 9am-4pm. The museum is on New Hampshire Motor Speedway property just north of the Shell station on Rt 106 in Loudon.

Sheet Rock Is Going Up



Sheet rock will cover nearly all of the walls, installed by K&M Drywall. The cost of material and labor is being paid as a donation by long time race fan, Dave Pritchard.

We paid to bring power to the building. It crosses the street in the air, then connects to a pole and from there it runs underground to a transformer in the rear. Shown making the connection from pole to ground is Doherty Electric's Ken Nault.
Beech Ridge Summerfest

Beech Ridge Summerfest



Beech Ridge Speedway hosted its annual Summerfest, the largest gathering of vintage race cars in New England, on August 8, 2016. The Spirit of 76 supermodified which was campaigned by ABC Racing in the early 1970s was seen restored and in public for the first time.

Dave Frahm's SNF Construction installed all of the interior framing as a donation. Frahm, who had already contributed $25,000 and executed the permit for the EPA-required underground water system, donated labor and materials. He showed up with a truck full of lumber, eight carpenters, and executed the entire project in one day.
Museum Progress Continues!

Museum Progress Continues!



Progress on the North East Motor Sports Museum continues. All of the siding is now on the building and several exterior doors have been installed. The Morton crew has now moved to the interior where they are hanging the ceiling and installing thick insulation. Electrical work is already in the trusses and a truss catwalk has been installed.

Progress on the building continues. The photos you see were taken on Sunday, June 12 and reveal the building's finished truss installations and a considerable amount of completed wall studding.
Ride On

Ride On



Relive the historic Gypsy Tour in a charity motorcycle ride supporting the North East Motor Sports Museum on June 12. The ride begins in front of the Boardwalk at Weirs Beach, NH and will go approximately 22 minutes to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a police escort leading the way.
Construction Update

Construction Update



Major progress was made on May 18 when the museum's floor was poured. A huge number of people and amount of equipment contributed to the success of the pour which began at 7am. A massive concrete pump truck sent 15 truck loads of concrete from the Michie Corporation onto the floor area.

We are grateful for the support of the many local companies that have donated goods and/or services to the museum project and we recommend that you support those companies. Total Climate Control is installing the museum’s plumbing as a donation. Doherty Electric is installing the building’s electrical requirements as a donation.

The Building Arrives!



The components that will make up the North East Motor Sports Museum have arrived. Three trailer trucks loaded with trusses, the metal that will make up the roof and exterior walls, insulation, and lumber rolled into New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
